Bobcat Kitten sneaking up on Skunk
These beautiful mounts are very difficult to find as no one wants
to work on skunks! And the bobcat kitten is almost impossible
to get. This is the only one I've come across in over 37 years
of doing taxidermy! These mounts are always greatly admired by

 Beautiful
Snowshoe Hare under a Witches Broom
Up north we have rabbits that aren't really rabbits. What we have
here in Maine are Hares. Typically the Snowshoe Hare. These Hares
turn white in the winter and back brown again in the spring. Now,
doesn't God create amazing animals or what!
This hare is mounted on a nice base under what is called a witches
broom. These "brooms" as they occur, are a growth that
occurs on tree which consists of a tangled up mass of shoots. Maybe
the tree has cancer or something. They actully grow this way. Most
people don't notice them until they are told about them and go looking
for them. They can be found in the Maine woods but it may take a
bit of scouting.

This is one of the most beautiful bobcats I've ever mounted. It
is a large cat and has a wonderful fur coat. One of the best I've
ever seen. Even the tuffs on the ears are super long for a bobcat
and lots of folks mistake it for a lynx. I really hate to part with
this my favorite bobcat mount.
